Here's Why Haris Rauf Might Miss Pakistan vs England Cricket World Cup Match

Haris Rauf underwent tests to assess a potential rib sprain, and subsequently, the right-arm pacer was transported to a nearby Kolkata hospital after reporting discomfort in his rib area.

During Pakistan's match against New Zealand in Bengaluru, Haris Rauf had to leave the field. This happened after Rauf conceded 85 runs in 10 overs.

After the match, Rauf, along with three other Pakistani cricketers, visited Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata on Monday.

Notably, Pak leg-spinner Shadab Khan is currently sidelined due to a concussion, and Pakistan haven't made any replacement calls for him as they prepare for their final league game against England.

Haris Rauf, the 30-year-old pacer, hasn't showcased his top form in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. His standout performances were against the Netherlands (3/43) and Bangladesh (2/36).
