Super Kings squad will tour England to play in the Junior International Academy tournament in Yorkshire which is scheduled to be held from July 8 to 19.
The Hyderabad right-handed middle order batsman will travel to England but not as a player. He will go to England with the Chennai Super Kings junior squad as a mentor of the side.
It started with Mohammad Shami, who was ruled out of the Afghanistan Test matche and then claimed to talented Indian cricketers – Ambatu Rayudu and Sanju Samson – ahead of the England tour.
Rayudu’s failure to clear the Yo-Yo test and then his exclusion from the Indian ODI squad attracted adverse reactions from the cricketing fraternity with CoA even demanding a proper explanation from BCCI.
In between all this, the state of Amabati Rayudu and his future as an international cricketer went unnoticed. Rayudu had made a comeback into the Indian side after a gap of three years, before the YoYo test dashed his dreams.
So, what is Rayudu up to now? Well, the failure to clear the Yo-Yo test has not stopped Rayudu from travelling to England.
The Yo-Yo test has taken out more Indian cricketers than any opposition bowler has in the last one month.
