Dhoni spotted in 'whites' ahead of 1st Test in Kolkata

Dhoni showed his usual gestures, going near the pitch to have a look at it, batted at the nets

But MS did this not to play the upcoming Test match but for a commercial shoot.

Mahi joined with another World cup-winning captain Kapil Dev for the commercial shoot at the Eden Gardens on Thursday.

The Sri Lankan team has already arrived at Kolkata, they will play a practice match against the Board President’s XI on November 11 at the Eden Gardens.

Dhoni retired from the longest format of the game way back in December 2014 and has since then never joined the Indian team in their training ahead of Test matches

But the former India captain decided to give a welcome surprise to the small crowd gathered at Eden Gardens by turning up in whites for the first time after his retirement.

Question marks may be lingering over his position in the limited overs side, but an unperturbed MS Dhoni decided to spring in a surprise by turning up in whites at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata ahead of India-Sri Lanka Test series.
