It was a double delight for Pant, who also received the Stylish Player Award. Pant ended as the second highest run-getter in the tournament with 684 runs from 14 games.

Runner-up Sunrisers Hyderabad’s skipper Kane Williamson (735 runs) got the Orange Cap.

Sunil Narine also picked up two awards -- Super Striker and the Most Valuable Player for his outstanding performance with both bat and ball.

As the eleventh edition of IPL came to a close, Chennai players were not the only happy lot. The top performers of the tournament were felicitated by the BCCI in the post-match presentation ceremony.

Delhi Daredevils wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant was named Emerging Player of IPL 11 after the final.
