County Championship Division Two 2023: Cheteshwar Pujara Scores His 2nd Test Ton For Sussex

On Day 3 day of Sussex vs Gloucestershire Test match, Pujara scored 151 in 238 balls in the first innings, laced up with 20 boundaries and two sixes.

Earlier in the first innings, Cheteshwar Pujara had scored 115 runs off 163 balls against Durham -- his 7th ton in county cricket.

The fine innings from Pujara helped Susex post 335 runs in reply to Durham's first-inning total of 376 runs. Sussex eventually defeated Durham by two wickets.

Last year, Pujara had scored 1,094 runs at an average of 109.40 for Sussex, with a best score of 231.

Pujara's fine form, his latest ton in Tests is a positive sign for India as they prepare to go up against Australia in the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 final.

The much-awaited India vs Australia ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 final will take place from June 7 at The Oval in London.
