Duckett's outstanding innings of 153 runs also helped him surpass Indian batting stalwart Virat Kohli.
England's Ben Duckett's 153-run innings is now the highest individual Test score at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.
Previously, the record was held by Virat Kohli, who scored 139 runs against West Indies in 2018.
