Bhagwani Devi Dagar, 95, Gets Grand Welcome In Delhi Post Three Golds At World Masters Athletics Indoor Championship
Veteran athlete Bhagwani Devi Dagar returned to a warm welcome at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Tuesday.

View In AppShe comes back to the country after making the nation proud by bagging three gold medals at the World Masters Athletics Indoor Championship at Torun in Poland.
The athlete, who hails from Haryana, was 100m faster than anyone else competing in the 90-94 age category which helped her bag gold at the 2023 World Masters Athletics Championships in Finland.
In addition, the nonagenarian won gold in shot put and discus throw in the 95-99 age group.
Dagar had recently shared a video of herself in which she was learning how to throw from her fellow competitor.
Dagar's grandson Vikas Dagar is a Khel Ratna Awardee, and has won several medals and trophies for India.
