On Friday, several parts of North India was covered in a blanket of snow. In Uttarakhand, Badrinath Temple and the surrounding area witnessed snowfall. According to the India Meteorological Department(IMD) has said that on Saturday places in Garhwal and Kumaon may witness light rain or snowfall. Image (ANI)

Srinagar received the season's first snowfall. The weather department has said that that western disturbance could bring more rain and snowfall in Ladakh and Kashmir.
