Actor Dalljiet Kaur is all set to tie the knot with beau Nikhil Patel. The wedding celebrations kickstarted with the mehendi ceremony.

Dalljiet took to Instagram and posted pictures from her intimate mehendi ceremony. Sharing the pictures she wrote, "And it begins. Emotional day for me and my family. Keep us in your prayers… All our emotions stunningly captured by @epicstories.in. My life story captured in absolutely gorgeous mehendi by @mehendiiekta."

One of the pictures show Dalljiet sitting with her parents, smiling as she shows off her henna-decorated hands.

Another picture shows her son Jaydon looking at the mehendi on her hand while she looks at him with a smile.

Her mehendi design has the bride and groom on one hand, and the other hand has the complete family including her son Jaydon and Nikhil's two daughters from his previous marriage.

Dalljiet and Nikhil will get married on March 17. Dalljiet was earlier married to Bigg Boss 16 contestant Shalin Bhanot. The couple got engaged in Nepal.

In an interview with ETimes, Dalljiet had spoken about how her son Jayden reacted to meeting Nikhil Patel. “Jaydon is quite mature for his age. I have dated before, and he would ask me if I was considering the guy for marriage. He has always yearned for a father, but I needed to be sure that I got him a good dad and myself a good husband because it’s a matter of our lives. However, when he met Nik for the first time a couple of months ago, he addressed him as papa on his own. I just froze thinking Nik kya sochega, as we hadn’t decided on marriage back then. Nik, without even batting an eyelid, started playing with him. That day when Jaydon met him, we just knew that we wanted to be together,” she was quoted as saying by ETimes.

Dalljiet and Shalin met on the sets of the TV show ‘Kulvaddhu’. They were the winners of the fourth season of celebrity couple dance show ‘Nach Baliye’. They seperated in 2015 and filed for divorce in 2016. (All Images: Instagram)
