Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad Visits Actor’s Family In Patna, Says ‘He Deserved More’

The untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has sent shock waves across the film industry. It’s hard to believe that the talented artist is no more with us. He committed suicide by hanging himself at his apartment in Bandra on Sunday (June 14).

Ravi Shankar Prasad had expressed his grief after hearing the news about Sushant’s suicide. “Shocked to learn that super talented actor #SushantSinghRajput is no more. He was from my city Patna. Remember meeting him in Rashtrapati Bhawan during oath taking ceremony last year. He had told me that his family lived in Rajiv Nagar,Patna. He had miles to go. He left too soon,” his tweet read.

Union law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad visited Sushant Singh Rajput’s family at their place in Patna on Friday (June 19). He offered his condolence to the ‘Raabta’ actor’s family. He wrote that Sushant 'had to achieve great heights and deserved more'.

Mumbai Police officers are investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case and they have recorded his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s statement. She left the Bandra Police station on Thursday after a 9-hour long interrogation.

Sushant's last rites took place at Pawan Hans crematorium, Vile Parle on June 15. Ekta Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma attended his funeral.
