In PICS: BMC Team Sanitises Bachchan's Home Jalsa After Big B & Abhishek Test Positive For COVID-19
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) team has sealed Amitabh Bachchan’s residence 'Jalsa' and the nearby areas on Sunday (July 12) after the Bollywood megastar and his son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19.

Talking about Amitabh Bachchan, the actor was last seen in 'Gulabo Sitabo', which premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video last month.
Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya and Aaradhya will have to stay in 14-day isolation.

Abhishek posted a tweet late night on Saturday, which read: Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.
Both Amitabh and Abhishek are currently admitted in Mumbai's Nanavati hospital, where they are receiving treatment.
BMC officials put a banner outside Jalsa, declaring the place as a containment zone. They have also sealed the building.

Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture from the hospital to inform his fans about his health. He wrote, I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !
