Marathi Actress Mayuri Deshmukh's Husband Aashutosh Bhakre Dies By Suicide; Close Friend Ketaki Palav Mourns His Death

Aashutosh’s close friend Ketaki Palav couldn’t hold back her tears after hearing the news of Aashutosh’s demise.

Ashutosh Bhakre and Mayuri Deshmukh tied the knot on January 21, 2016. The couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary earlier year.

Aashutosh Bhakre, who was married to Marathi actress Mayuri Deshmukh, was found hanging at his residence.

“I am in shock right now. It's shocking for the entire entertainment industry. It's really painful for me to say anything about him or her right now. I tried to call Mayuri but obviously, it's not possible for her to receive anyone's calls right now,” Ketaki told ETimes.

According to early reports, Mayuri Deshmukh was talking to her mother- in-law downstairs when Aashutosh went upstairs. He told his wife that he wanted some sleep.

Aashutosh’s family members knocked at his door after few hours when he didn’t wake up. They tried to open the door when he didn’t respond. They peeped inside the room and found Aashutosh hanging. Marathi actor Aashutosh Bhakre, known for films like ‘Ichar Tharla Pakka’ and ‘Bhakar’, hanged himself to death at his home in Nanded on Wednesday (July 29). His sudden demise has sent shockwaves in the Marathi film and TV industry.

It is still not known why Aashutosh decided to take the drastic step. He was reportedly battling depression since some time.
