Biggest opening for Sandeep Reddy Vanga: The director's last biggest opener was Kabir Singh with Rs 20 crore, Animal beats it with huge margin and became Sandeep's biggest gainer on its first day.

Second biggest opener of the year: While Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan remains the biggest opener of the year with Rs 75 crore collection at the domestic box office, Animal leaves Pathaan, Gadar 2 behind and becomes second highest opener of the year.
