Met Gala 2024: Alia Bhatt Shows Up In An Ethereal Sabyasachi Saree, Check Out All Pics

The actor’s red carpet-look is a hand-embroidered saree designed by Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

For her second appearance at the Met Gala, Alia wore a saree features a 23-foot-long embroidered train.

As per Vogue, the ensemble features is hand-embroidered with silk floss and glass beading.

It is adorned with beaded tassels in the borders and a ruffled pleat on the front.

Alia paired the saree with a blouse featuring a sweetheart neckline, ruffled sleeves, and a tulle bow on the back.

The actor picked accessories by Sabyasachi, including a mang tika, statement earrings, and a few rings.

To complet her look, she wore a messy updo with loose strands of hair framing her face.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Vasan Bala's Jigra, which is set to hit theatres on September 27.
