Arun Govil To Rachana Banerjee, Celebrity Winners Of Lok Sabha Elections 2024
Arun Govil, best known for playing Lord Ram in TV's Ramayana, won the Meerut constituency with 546,469 votes. Actor turned politician won against SP's Sunita Vema despite a tough contest. Arun Govil defeated SP's Sunita Verma with a margin of 10,585 votes. Sunita Verma secured 5,35,884 votes, while Devvrat Tyagi- 87,025 votes.

BJP's Ravi Kishan beat fellow actor Kajal Nishad of Samajwadi Party by a margin of 1,03,566 votes. The landslide victory of Kishan happened with him securing ,85,834 votes, while Kajal Nishad secured 4,82,308 votes.
