Amitabh Bachchan was one of the first Bollywood actors to launch his NFTs. In November 2021, the Bollywood megastar launched a collection on his father’s iconic ‘Madhushala’ poems, which were recorded in his voice. Manish Malhotra launched his fashion-themed NFT collection, which includes five digital designs sketched by the artist. The collectibles went live on the WazirX NFT marketplace. Malhotra sold digital sketches of some of his most famous designs for $4,000 a piece, including a constellation of sketches of Kareena Kapoor Khan which was auctioned for around Rs 2.8 lakhs.
