Jeep Meridian would be launched soon in India while booking would be started from May 1. The Meridian would be put above the Compass and is a three-row 7-seater premium SUV. Here are some images while our review is coming soon.

View In AppThe Meridian is longer than the Compass and has a length of 4769mm with a height of 1698mm. The wheelbase is 2782mm. The Meridian has a two-tone roof with 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The interior has quilted leather seats which are perforated along with soft-touch padding for the dashboard. There is a 10.1inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity along with a 10.25inch digital instrument cluster.
Other features include dual-zone climate control, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, connected car technology, ventilated front seats with memory function, tyre pressure monitoring system, air filter, 360-degree camera, a power liftgate, 6 airbags, and more.
The Meridian is a 7-seater SUV while access to the third row is via one-touch tumble.
For now, the Meridian will come with a 2.0l diesel only with a 0-100 kmph time of 10.8 seconds while 198kmph is the top speed. There are drive modes along with independent front/rear suspension. There will also be a 4x4 system on offer with manual/auto 4x4 variants.
Expect prices to be around Rs 35 starting while high localization will mean prices would be kept reasonably competitive. Pricing would be announced in June. The Meridian will compete with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, and other 7-seater SUVs at this price point.
