The Super Meteor 650 looks quite attractive though and has a muscular design while you can see the USD forks and LED headlamps. There is a clear premium touch and feel here with this new 650 RE. While the design indeed takes from the smaller 350 Meteor, this bike has a more premium look helped by details like the full LED headlamp. (Source: Somnath Chatterjee)

The Super Meteor 650 Tourer comes in two colours Celestial Red and Celestial Blue along with being more comfort oriented with the taller footpegs and a bigger seat along with also a bigger windscreen. The instrument cluster is also familiar with the tripper navigation which is standard. The heart of the matter is the same powertrain from the Interceptor and Continental GT 650 which is a 648cc twin motor. The power stays at 47bhp while the torque has been tuned for a more cruiser-like riding experience. (Source: Somnath Chatterjee)

The Meteor 650 has a 19/16inch wheel combo while the riding experience is more comfort friendly along with an accessible seat height. It is amongst the largest and the heaviest (214kgs) of the Enfield motorcycles though plus the low 135mm ground clearance needs to be taken into account on our roads. The bike would be shown at the Rider Mania event and a launch would be planned soon after that around next year while the pricing would be higher than the current 650s. This would be the most premium Royal Enield and also the most expensive at around Rs 4 lakh being the expected price. It is a pretty motorcycle overall and also once that occupies an interesting niche. (Source: Somnath Chatterjee)
