This time the Auto Expo may be smaller but there is plenty of cars to see with new SUVs plus interesting concepts dominating the show presence. We narrow down the best cars in this list below.
Electric is the theme at the Auto Expo and here also Volkswagen showed its EV concept SUV which you must also give a look at. Ths is a fast electric luxury SUV with more than 300 bhp plus can do near 500km on a single charge.
You should not miss this blue coloured beauty at the Expo at the Mercedes pavilion. It is the most expensive car launched at the Expo and is the showstopper too from Mercedes.
Of course the Chinese car-makers have been the main talking point with two new coming in. If you are visiting the expo, check out the Haval stand with many SUVs plus a cute little electric car which also could come to India.
An Auto Expo is nothing if there is not a crazy concept car. Mahindra stole the show with the crazy Funster concept. You must see it at the Mahindra pavilion. It has wide doors which come out while it is a convertible SUV also a sports car.
In terms of show appeal the Futuro-e has been one of the star concepts. It has made its debut at the Auto Expo and points to the future SUV from Maruti. One of the concepts that you must see overall.
You should move your eyes a bit from the Sierra and the next big Auto Expo showcase is also the HBX. This is its compact SUV and at the Auto Expo, it has been seen for the first time. Also you can buy it in the coming months.
Kia has been having a great time in India after the Seltos has been doing so well so at the Auto Expo, you should visit the Kia pavilion and check out their new compact SUV in concept form called as Sonet. It is also launching soon.
Just shown yesterday the Jimny is one of the stars and you can see it at the Maruti Suzuki pavillion. The Jimny is not yet coming to India but we think it will in the near future. The fact that it has some emotional connect due to the fact that it is related to the original Gypsy makes this one SUV that you should not miss.
The iconic Sierra name is back and Tata has put this name on a EV SUV concept. If you are visiting the Expo, you must check out the Tata Pavilion. Amongst the many cars it is this that we loved the most. The Sierra is a concept for now but the design is similar in many ways to the original. The design is futuristic and going by the positive response we think Tata should build this. Anyways do not miss this also!
The new Creta would be launched most probably in next months time and it is bigger than the earlier Creta plus having more features. We will expect two petrol and one diesel engines. Do not miss this.
