The auspicious occasion of Kartik Purnima is revered for its significance, with the belief that bathing and performing charitable deeds in the holy river on this day yield results equivalent to grand rituals.

Every year, devotees from various cities, including Haridwar, Prayagraj, and Varanasi, converge on the Ganga ghats to offer their reverence. This year, Varanasi observed a notable influx of devotees, with a considerable crowd gathering at the Dashashwamedh Ghat and Assi Ghat, among others.

It is noteworthy that the Purnima commenced on Sunday, November 26, at 3:53 PM and will continue until 2:45 PM today.

Consequently, devotees started arriving at the Ganga ghats in Varanasi since last night.

The fervor extended beyond Varanasi, as devotees in Patna also participated in the Ganga snan and performed worship rituals on the Ganga ghats.

Similar to Varanasi, Patna witnessed a large turnout of devotees at the Ganga ghats, demonstrating the widespread observance of Kartik Purnima.
