Online shopping has made our life extremely easy today. From clothes to jewellery to even groceries, most of the things can be ordered online and delivered at our doorstep. But sometimes there is a chance of items getting mixed up or being delivered to a wrong person. Recently, something similar happened to a woman who took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to share her bitter experience.

According to Twitter user @badassflowerbby, her mother had ordered an electric toothbrush worth Rs 12000. But when the order was delivered, she was shocked to find out that the package only contained 4 boxes of MDH Chaat Masala.

The user's mother had chosen the specific vendor as it provided the item at a discounted price. But when the box reached her, the mother found it to be 'suspiciously light' and didn't pay for it. She then opened the packet to discover that the boxes contained MDH Chaat Masala inside.

"The seller keeps their listings ā‚¹1-3k lower than other sellers on big-ticket items, which tempts more people to order from them. One may argue you should check seller feedback before ordering, but how many people do that? Especially as you have to click away from the listing to do so," the caption of the post read further.

She also tagged Amazon asking them to take immediate action against the seller.

Since being shared the post has garnered 66.5k views and several comments.

"Same happened with me in 2021. I ordered electric tooth brush and he sends me normal brush. I think this seller has changed his name," wrote one user.

"Why did you order from a seller which has 92% negative reviews?," wrote another intriguingly.

"Never buy from 3rd party operators high value items .. check seller name before buying.. buy from Amazon's inhouse seller," suggested another.
