The trend of experimenting with food and trying different recipes has gained momentum in the recent years. Maggi noodles is one of the most experimented dishes, with some sharing really bizarre ideas on the internet. Chai, the Indian beverage too has occasionally been given unusual twists surprising tea lovers across the country.
One such experiment with the beverage has gone viral on the internet. A culinary enthusiast in an experiment beyond our imagination decided to give it a new twist by mixing the beverage with ice cream.
In the video shared on facebook by Mi_nashikkar the vendor can be seen pouring a cup of tea on the ice-cream-making platform. He then adds milk and chocolate syrup and some kind of coco syrup to it. He then mixes the ingredients and adds a topping of the chocolate syrup and then scrapes it out from the platform to create the Chai-flavoured ice cream roll.
Since being posted on the social networking site, the video has garnered more than 8 lakh views and over 6k comments.
Ice cream roll is a sweet delicacy from Thailand that is popular in India too. But the desi twist to it has left social media users shocked and even disgusted.
One of the user after seeing the video on Facebook wrote, "Vimal and rajnigandha ice-cream bhi bana hi do ab." (Please make Vimal and Rajnigandha ice-cream as well).
“Nowadays people do anything, and they think they can sell it and make money nonsense,” another added.
“Please make tandoori chicken and chilli chicken ice-cream,” wrote a third criticising the combination.
While a fourth joked, "I want paracetamol ice-cream for my kids."
