New Delhi: As a no-confidence motion looms over the administration of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, he addressed a large gathering in Islamabad.

Addressing the crowd at Islamabad's Parade Ground, Pakistan Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Hussain referred to Imran Khan as a "fakir" (ascetic) who is not greedy for power.

While addressing the crowd, Fawad Hussain said, "Woh toh fakir addmi hai. He won’t be affected whether he is in power or not. We will be affected. Today Imran Khan is standing for our needs, for everyone who cares for Pakistan.”

"Those who have stabbed Imran Khan in the back will not be able to show their face in their constituencies," Fawad Hussain stated, referring to the no-trust motion looming over Imran Khan's administration.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and his PTI party held a rally in Islamabad as a show of force.

Before Imran Khan entered the platform, members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) took turns speaking to rally attendees.

One of the first PTI politicians to address the throng was Defence Minister Pervez Khattak. He asked PTI followers to support Imran Khan and assured them that "our fearless leader is not going away."
