New Delhi: Two people were killed (including the suspects) and four were injured in a shooting incident at Norther California Walmart distribution Centre, said reports on Saturday. It was reported that a gunman drove his vehicle into the Walmart centre and opened fire on the workers. He rammed his vehicle into the facility in the town of Red Bluff, and after the vehicle caught fire, he began shooting at workers. The entire incident continued for around 45 minutes, after the officials shot the suspect.

The four injured persons were currently receiving treatment at the St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. They are in fair condition, spokeswoman Allison Hendrickson told The Sacramento Bee. Also Read:  United Nations Experts Call For Action Against China Over Human Rights Violations

The facility, is located in the 10800 block of Highway 99 West. Employees at the centre told local media that a shooting had taken place with about 200 workers inside the facility, some of whom locked themselves in a room.

A report by New York Times quoted Allison Hendrickson, a spokesperson for St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, as saying two people were fatally shot and four others injured and were in fair condition on Saturday.

Earlier, it was reported that a shooting took place at around 3:30 pm (local time) on Saturday at a distribution centre of the Walmart retail corporation in the city of Red Bluff, located about 120 miles north of California's capital Sacramento.
