US President Donald Trump, while addressing his joint session to the Congress on Tuesday, thanked Pakistan for helping the US in the arrest of the terrorist responsible for Abbey Gate bombing in Afghanistan during the 2021 withdrawl of American forces from Afghanistan.
Trump recalled the 13 American service members killed during a suicide bombing at Kabul airport during the withdrawl from Afghanistan in 2021. He termed the withdrawl under the previous Biden administration 'disastrous and incompetent'. He also called it the 'most embarassing moment' of the US history.
Trump said, "America is standing strong against the forces of radical Islamic terrorism. 3.5 years ago, ISIS terrorist killed 13 American service members and countless others in the Abbey Gate bombing...tonight, I am pleased to announce that we have apprehended the top terrorist responsible for that atrocity, and he is right now on his way here to face the swift sword of American justice. I want to thank especially the govt of Pakistan for helping to arrest this monster..."
He added, "This was a very momentus day for those 13 families who I actually got to know very well, most of them whose children were murdered and the many people that were so badly, over 43 people , so badly injured on that fateful day in Afghanistan. What a horrible day."

Millions of Ukrainians and Russians have been needlessly killed or wounded in this horrific and brutal conflict with no end in sight...Europe has sadly spent more money buying Russian oil and gas than they have spent on defending Ukraine...we spent perhaps $350 billion...Biden has authorised more money on this fight...earlier today, I received an important letter from Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, the letter reads, 'Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer...' I appreciate that he sent this letter...simultaneously, we had serious discussions with Russia and have received strong signals that they are ready for peace..."
