Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Elon Musk's Starlink 'Now Active' After Internet Outage In Ukraine
Ukrainian vice-president, Mykhailo Fedorov, had asked the billionaire to provide internet services using Starlink stations in Ukraine "to address sane Russians to stand" on Twitter.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX said that his company Starlink has activated its internet services in the conflict-struck Ukraine amid reports of internet outages in the country. As per the civil society groups, there is a huge possibility of direct attacks on the internet infrastructure of Ukraine by Russia, causing internet outages.

Musk was prompt to respond and within 12 hours, he said that the Internet services have been active and "More terminals" are "en route" to Ukraine. Take a look at the tweet below:

Starlink is among the growing numbers of firms launching small satellites as part of a low-Earth orbit network to deliver low-latency broadband internet services around the world, focusing on distant locations where terrestrial internet infrastructure lags.
According to a digital advocacy group named NetBlocks, there has been a significant internet disruption in Kharkiv which is located in northeast Ukraine, about 25 miles from the Russian border.
Meanwhile, the Russian invasion has cost more than 200 Ukrainian lives so far. The UN humanitarian agency reported 240 civilian casualties, including 64 people killed, in the fighting in Ukraine that erupted since Russia’s attack.
