'What A Time I've Come, So Much Excitement': Pak PM After Moscow Arrival Amid Russia-Ukraine Conflict
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin who, earlier in the day, ordered a "special military operation" in eastern Ukraine
New Delhi: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived at Moscow Airport for his two-day Russia visit on Wednesday.
In a video shared on Pakistan PMO's official Twitter account, Imran Khan can be heard saying: "What a time I've come, so much excitement".
The video garnering attention in view of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine as Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday announced a "special military exercise" against the neighbouring country.

In the video, Imran Khan can be heard saying: "What a time I've come, so much excitement". To this, the official accompanying him responds, "Absolutely, this is the right time to come."

Previously, Imran Khan had spoken to the Russian state-run RT television network ahead of his trip where he voiced concern about the situation in Ukraine and the possibility of new sanctions and their impact on Islamabad's growing cooperation with Moscow.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Prime Minister on Thursday began his engagements in Moscow by laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a war memorial dedicated to the Soviet troops fallen during World War II, news agency PTI reported.
He is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin who, earlier in the day, ordered a "special military operation" in eastern Ukraine, ignoring last-minute appeals and warnings from the West.
Notably, Imran Khan is the first Pakistani premier to visit Russia in 23 years after former premier Nawaz Sharif travelled to Moscow in 1999.
According to Pakistan's Geo News, Imran Khan will have a one-on-one meeting with President Putin on Thursday afternoon during which they will discuss issues including economic cooperation.
In meeting with Putin, he was expected to push for the construction of a long-delayed, multi-billion-dollar gas pipeline to be built in collaboration with Russian companies, PTI reported citing Pakistani media.
