30 Palestinians Killed, Gaza Hospitals Overwhelmed As Israel Continues Air Strikes — Key Updates

Hospitals in Gaza said they were running out of medical supplies as Israeli airstrikes continue to kill Palestinian civilians.

Casualties mounted  in the Gaza Strip as Israel continued to rain missiles on the besieged enclave amid war between Hamas and Israel which entered 16th day on Monday. 30 Palestinians were killed after an Israeli airstrike attacked a residential building in Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp late on Sunday. Hospitals in Gaza are running out of material to cover the dead amid continued casualties and Israeli airstrikes. 

Meanwhile, Israeli President Isaac Herzog claimed that members of the Palestinian group Hamas were carrying instructions on how to make chemical weapons when they broke into the country on October 7. 

30 Dead, 27 Injured In Israeli Airstrike. Hospitals Running Out Of Supplies 

At least 30 people were dead while 27 others were injured after an airstrike by Israel hit Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp late on Sunday. Meanwhile hospitals in Gaza said they were running out of supplies as continued Israeli airstrikes killed more people. 

“We are suffering from an acute shortage of medicines and medical equipment,” the director of the Indonesian Hospital in North Gaza told Al Jazeera.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza also said they were running out of the material to cover the dead. 

A BBC reporter on ground witnessed a facility overwhelmed with casualties where “doctors were racing to finish procedures before moving on to the next patient.

Gaza officials from the health ministry said more than 100 people were killed as Israel carried out airstrikes overnight.

Hamas Terrorists Carried Instructions On How To Make Chemical Weapons: Israeli President 

Israeli President Isaac Herzog has claimed that the Hamas militants who broke into his country on October 7 carried instructions on how to make chemical weapons, according to a Sky News report. 

The documents, complete with diagrams, were shown to Sky News by President Herzog in an exclusive interview on Sunday evening, as per the report. 

"It's al Qaeda material. Official al Qaeda material. We are dealing with ISIS, al Qaeda and Hamas," Mr Herzog said. 

"This is how shocking the situation is where we're looking at the instructions that are given on how to operate and how to create a kind of non-professional chemical weapon with cyanide," he added. 

Biden Speak To Netanyahu On Aid Flow To Gaza 

United States President Joe Biden spoke to Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss developments in Gaza and the surrounding region. According to the White House, Joe Biden welcomed the first two convoys of humanitarian assistance, and the two leaders affirmed that there will now be a continued flow of this critical assistance into Gaza.
