Imran Khan Claims 'Police Assault' On Lahore House As He Heads To Islamabad Court
Punjab Police allegedly "led an assault" on former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan's house in Zaman Park, Lahore where his wife Bushra Begum "is alone", as per the PTI chief.
Former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan and his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) claimed that Punjab Police "led an assault" on his residence in Zaman Park where his wife Bushra Begum "is alone".
"Under what law are they doing this? This is part of the London Plan where commitments were made to bring absconder Nawaz Sharif to power as quid pro quo for agreeing to one appointment," Imran Khan tweeted.

"They’re now trying to enter Chairman’s house where only Bhusra Bibi is present. We don’t even see these kinds of acts in Martial laws," PTI tweeted. The party has shared various purported visuals of the police action at Imran Khan's house.

According to Pakistan's Geo News, Police reached the residence of Imran Khan in Lahore and arrested more than 20 party workers.
"The attack on Imran Khan's house is state terrorism, the sanctity of the chador and the wall has been violated, the orders of the Lahore High Court have been blown apart, the courts and the constitution have been suspended in the country, and human rights have been violated," PTI leader and former federal minister Ch Fawad Hussain wrote in an Urdu tweet.
Earlier in the day, the PTI Chairman left for Islamabad from his Zaman Park residence in Lahore to appear before a court in the Toshakhana case.
As per Geo News, a lower court in the federal capital will take up the Toshakhana case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman (PTI) Imran Khan amid a high-security alert in and around the Federal Judicial Complex in G-11.

Ahead of Imran Khan's arrival at the Judicial Complex, the area was put on high security to ensure law and order and avoid any untoward situations, the report mentioned.
The Islamabad administration on Friday night imposed Section 144 in the capital, prohibiting private companies, security guards, or individuals from carrying weapons. It is mandatory for drivers to carry their vehicle registration documents while driving. news agency PTI reported.
In the last hearing on Thursday, the court rejected Imran’s plea seeking the suspension of non-bailable arrest warrants issued for him.
