A peculiar incident took place in Pakistan’s Karachi, where a young man killed his friend for allegedly devouring a burger intended for his girlfriend. The incident unfolded on February 8 in the Defence Phase 5 area in Karachi, and a detailed report has been compiled, ARY News reported. The police authorities have concluded the investigation into the matter.
The probe has been concluded by police authorities pertaining to the incident that unfolded on February 8. The victim was identified as Ali Keerio, the son of a sessions judge. According to the report, the conflict broke out when the victim purportedly ate the burger of the accused's girlfriend. According to ARY News, the accused was identified as Daniyal, the son of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nazir Ahmed Mirbahar.
Following the inquiry into the incident, it was revealed that Daniyal had invited his girlfriend, Shazia, to his residence on that fateful day. Daniyal’s friend, Ali Keerio, and his brother, Ahmer, were also present on the occasion. The accused had ordered two burgers for himself and Shazia.

The dispute occurred when Keerio allegedly ate a portion of one of the burgers, which triggered a furious reaction from Daniyal, according to ARY News. The confrontation between the two escalated, and the suspect seized a guard's rifle and fired at Keerio, causing severe injuries. Keerio succumbed to his injuries during treatment at a hospital.
After a thorough investigation into the matter, the investigative officer concluded the inquiry and held the police officer's son responsible for the crime, ARY News reported. The officer submitted the report to senior officials. The accused, Daniyal Nazeer, is currently detained and awaiting trial in a court of law, ARY News reported.
