New Delhi: Pakistan’s leading news channel,  Dawn, was allegedly hacked on Sunday noon, several media reports said soon after photos and videos of the TV screen surfaced online. The hackers gave the message of Indian Independence Day along with Indian national flag.

The tricolour appeared over an advertisement that was running on the channel, and a Happy Independence Day message was displayed.  Several Twitter users spotted the takeover and posted screenshots of it on the micro-blogging site.

A Twitter user shared the following clip.
