In a message broadcast on Radio Pakistan, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Railways, said that the difference in the approach of Pakistan’s Premier Imran Khan and PM Narendra Modi towards Pulwama attacks, highlights the difference between a "literate and an illiterate person".
He said: “As against Modi government in India, Pakistan’s Imran Khan has called for an investigation in the Pulwama attacks, which is the difference between the approach of an educated and an illiterate person.”
In the video message he can be heard saying: “Modi government won the previous elections also by indulging in hate speech against Muslims and Pakistan; after losing elections in 5 states, he has once again given a green signal to the army, which is an open threat of war.”
Ahmad then warned India of strong consequences, if India threatens of surgical strike. He said Pakistan will retaliate strongly, in case of any misadventure by the Indian side, as Pakistan does not have any other option.
“Modi sarkar ki taraf se agar koi surgical strike, koi halki fulki mausiki ki gai ..to Pakistan Pakka raag gayega,” Ahmad said.
In an apparent reference to nuclear weapons, he said Pakistan has not kept these “firecrackers” for Diwali. “Ye fuljhadiyan humne diwali ke liye nhi rakhi hain”, Ahmad said.
He ended his speech saying that India cannot call Kashmir’s struggle for freedom as terrorism.
Yesterday, Imran Khan had said that Pakistan would act against the perpetrators of the Pulwama terror attack if India shares "actionable intelligence" with his country, a statement which elicited strong criticism in India.
On Friday, India lost 40 CRPF soldiers in a ghastly terror attack, that was carried out in Pulwama by Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammed.
