Pakistan: 3 Women Kill Madarsa Teacher After Minor Girl Dreams Of Her Blasphemy

According to the first information report (FIR), when police reached the site of the crime, they found the victim lying in a pool of blood with her throat slashed.

Islamabad: Yet another murder case in the name of blasphemy was reported in Pakistan after a 21-year-old female teacher in Dera Ismail Khan was killed by three women after accusing her of blasphemy, The Dawn reported.

The incident took place on Tuesday morning outside the Jamia Islamia Falahul Binaat reportedly over a difference of opinion on religious issues and allegations of blasphemy.

According to the first information report (FIR), when police reached the site of the crime, they found the victim lying in a pool of blood with her throat slashed.

The report further added that sharp objects were used in the attack on the victim.

All three accused, identified as Umra Aman (24), Razia Hanfi (21), and Aisha Nomani (17), have been taken into custody. The Dawn further stated that 21-year-old victim was a follower of well-known religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel, which was not liked by the suspects.

According to news agency IANS, a police officer quoted the suspects as saying that a 13-year-old female relative of theirs "saw a dream last night" in which she found out about the alleged blasphemy committed by the victim and was subsequently "ordered to slaughter her".

Police officials informed that the victim belonged to the Mehsud tribe and hailed from South Waziristan tribal district. Her current residence was in DI Khan's Anjumabad area.

Wafaqul Madaris al Arabia Pakistan, a board of seminaries, has condemned the murder, terming it 'unfortunate'. It has also demanded an independent and fair investigation into the incident and called for arresting and punishing the culprits.
