MISS INDIA USA 2021: Vaidehi Dongre of Michigan has won the title of 'Miss India USA 2021'. Arshi Lalani of Georgia was chosen as the runner up of this competition, while Meera Kasari of North Carolina stood third.


Diana Hayden, the winner of the 1997 Miss World title, was the chief guest and chief judge in this competition. 61 women from 30 states of the USA participated in this competition. During this, the winners were chosen in three different categories, namely 'Miss India USA', 'Mrs India USA' and 'Miss Teen India USA'. The winners of all three categories have also been given tickets to take part in the world competition to be held in Mumbai. 


Vaidehi Dongre, 25, has completed her graduation in International Studies from the University of Michigan. She works as a Business Development Manager in a big company. Along with 'Miss India USA 2021', Vaidehi has also 'Miss Talented' title for her brilliant Kathak dance performance. After her victory, Vaidehi said, "I want to leave a positive and far-reaching impact in the society. At the same time, I want to work on the issues of women's economic independence and their education."  


The runner up of the competition, Arshi Lalani, also impressed the judges with her brilliant performance and confidence. 20-year-old Lalani has been suffering from brain tumour. For your knowledge, this competition was started about 40 years ago by well-known NRIs Dharmatma Saran and Neelam Saran under the banner of 'Worldwide Pageants'. 'Miss India USA' has been the longest running Indian beauty pageant outside India.
