New Delhi: The legendary Marvel Comics co-creator Stan Lee has died at the age of 95, leaving many of the Marvel aficionados heartbroken. Lee died on Monday morning at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, the Hollywood Reporter said. Stan Lee was the co-creator of the iconic superheroes like Spider Man, Iron Man, the Hulk, X-Men, Black Panther, Daredevil, the Avengers and other Marvel characters that the people of the yester and the present generations love invariably.
Stan Lee, a legendary comic-book writer, publisher and film producer, had suffered a number of illness in his later years.
Stan Lee whose real name was Stanley Lieber had once explained why he did not use his real name in his comics. He said that he felt he would write the ‘Great American Novel’ someday and did not want to use his real name on the ‘silly little comics’.
He ended up in the comics business by accident. His uncle got him a job when he was a teenager filling artists' inkwells and fetching coffee.
From a cluttered office on Madison Avenue in Manhattan in the 1960s, he helped summon a lineup of pulp-fiction heroes that revolutionized the popular culture in the early 21st century.
Stan Lee who very easily transferred his vision to millions of superhero fans who could see his fantastic universe and the humans with extraordinary powers led the Marvel empire for decades as its publisher.
Stan Lee is the co creators of almost all the Marvel characters and the pop-culture heroes like Siderman, Ironman, Thor, Hulk, X-Men, Fantastic Four and Doctor Strange.
Lee has also appeared in cameo roles in many Marvel movies, including as a bus driver in "Avengers: Infinity War.”
