Israel- Palestine Conflict: Earlier on Sunday, Israeli forces bombed the arms depot of Hamas rulers in the Gaza Strip. A total of 25 people were injured during the violent protest at the border.


On Saturday, Gaza's Hamas rulers staged a protest to draw attention over the blockade of Israel and Egypt, which was attended by hundreds of people, and violence erupted at the same time.

Israel attacks Hamas rulers' Arms Depot


Thousands of people approached the border fences, threw stones and explosives at Israeli soldiers from behind the black smoke of burning tyres. According to Gaza's Health Ministry, at least 24 Palestinians, including a 13-year-old boy, were injured in firing by Israeli troops. An Israeli border Police officer is said to have been shot and is seriously injured. Israel's military said in a statement, that in response to violent protests, fighter jets targeted Gaza. Hamas has bombed the rulers' weapons and manufacturing depots and the army has deployed additional troops in the area near the Palestinian enclave. There are no immediate reports of any casualties in airstrikes.


Gaza Strip's Hamas leaders attack depot


Gaza's Health Ministry reported that, in May, 254 people including 67 children and 39 women, died in the 11-day violent faceoff between Gaza and Israel. After 12 years of long rule in Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, who held the prime minister's post, ended his term. He has been replaced by Neftali Bennett, 49, of the right-wing Yamina Party.
