New Delhi: Raoof Hassan, who served as a special advisor to former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan, in a conversation with ABP News claimed that PM Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, and Major General Faisal (Naseer) hatched a conspiracy to kill the PTI chief. He said that their names would be mentioned in the FIR.
This comes while senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Asad Umar in a video statement also said that party chairman Khan has named three suspects.
"Imran Khan called us and told us to convey this message to the nation on his behalf...He said that he believes three people - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Sanaullah and Major General Faisal (Naseer) - were involved in the attack on him," Umar said.
He said they should be immediately removed from their current positions.
Khan has warned that "a protest will be held across the country" if the individuals accused by him were not removed from their offices, Umar added.
Pak Interior Minister Sanaullah condemned the attack on Khan while also denying the allegation.

Addressing a press conference, Sanaullah rejected the allegations and said not only Prime Minister Sharif but also PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and other leaders have condemned this attack and this kind of thinking, news agency PTI reported.
He said that the federal government was ready to provide every kind of support for the investigation of this attack. The minister demanded that the Punjab government set up a joint investigation team of senior officers to probe the incident.
Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan, 70, sustained a bullet injury on his leg when a gunman opened fire on the container-mounted-truck carrying him during his protest march, killing one person. The PTI chairperson was reported to be out of danger.
In a statement, the Punjab police said that seven people were injured and one person was killed during the attack. It added that a suspect has been arrested.
Geo TV reported that the attacker was identified as Naved. The attacker said to be in his early 20s was wearing a salwar-kameez and had been walking along the container and fired from the left side, the channel stated.
The suspect caught by police has said that he wanted to kill Khan because “he was misleading the public.” "He (Khan) was misleading the people and I could not bear watching it so I… attempted to kill him,” he said in a video confession.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack and directed the Interior Minister to present an immediate report on the incident.
"I pray for the recovery and health of PTI chairman & other injured people. Federal government will extend all support necessary to Punjab govt for security & investigation. Violence should have no place in our country's politics," Sharif tweeted.
