An upcoming biography of Elon Musk has revealed that the Tesla CEO has a 'secret third child' with musician Grimes. The child, named 'Techno Mechanius', but known as Tau, marks Musk's 10th child with three different women. The age of the boy remains undisclosed. The 52-year-old Musk had an on-and-off relationship with the 35-year-old Canadian electro music artist, originally Claire Boucher, between 2018 and 2022.

The author of the upcoming biography titled "Elon Musk", Walter Isaacson, revealed the existence of this child, according to a New York Times review. Their first child, a boy named X Æ A-Xii (referred to as 'X'), was born in 2020, and they welcomed a girl named Exa Dark Sideræl Musk (nicknamed Y) in March. The couple reportedly separated the previous year.

According to the NYT review of Isaacson's book, "Musk is a mercurial man-child". The author says that Musk was relentlessly bullied as a kid in South Africa "until he grew big enough to beat up his bullies".

Excerpts from Isaacson's biography have disclosed several surprising revelations about Musk's personal life and his involvement in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. In one excerpt obtained by US-based media website CNN, it was disclosed that Musk had directed SpaceX engineers to disrupt Ukrainian access to Starlink satellites near the Crimean coast to prevent a potential drone attack on Russian warships. The drones, which were loaded with explosives, lost connectivity and posed no threat when they washed ashore during the thwarted attack last year. Musk's concern was that such an attack on occupied Crimea could lead to a "mini-Pearl Harbor." Musk later responded to the incident, stating that the Starlink regions in question had not been activated, and SpaceX had not deactivated anything.

"Musk was impressed with the design of the submarine drones but that he wouldn’t turn satellite coverage back on for Crimea because Ukraine 'is now going too far and inviting strategic defeat',” the CNN report read.

On September 6, Isaacson posted the first images of Musk with Shivon Zilis, the Neuralink executive with whom he had twins in November 2021, along with their two children. This photo prompted Grimes to accuse Musk of not allowing her to see their son 'X', as she posted in a now-deleted message on a social media platform. Grimes wrote, "Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz [sic] respond to my lawyer. I have never even been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart."

The biography is the result of two years of shadowing Musk by author Walter Isaacson, who attended Musk's meetings, visited his factories, and conducted extensive interviews with him, his family, friends, colleagues, and adversaries. The book aims to provide a revealing inside story that explores the complex aspects of Musk's life and addresses the question of whether the same demons that drive him are also the driving force behind innovation and progress. It is set to be released on September 12.
