Earlier on September 10, a news agency reported that the unnamed female flight attendant received a dismissal letter from the carrier in the mail over the May incident.
The air hostess was given the proposal 30 minutes after takeoff. The boyfriend went down on his knees on the flight and proposed to her. The video of the same incident went viral video circulating on social media back in May. It is said that the incident took place on a flight from Xi An to Yinchuan.
It is allegedly reported that the airline has said that the flight attendant neglected the safety of the passengers which is why she was sacked from the job.
The termination of the air hostess had garnered mixed reviews in social media sites where many have called the termination as 'inhumane' while others say that handling private affairs during professional hours was completely wrong.
