A seaside music festival in northwestern was going all fine, when all of a sudden the stage on which the artiste were performing collapsed into the sea on Sunday night, state television RTVE reported.
Of the hundred reported hurt, five were seriously injured.
Though there were many people on the boardwalk, there were no reports of fatalities .
266 people were injured as the 10 metres wide and 30 metres long platform collapsed into the sea just before the midnight, reports said.
The music festival named O Marisquino festival was organised in Vigo, a town in the Galicia region.
Though it has not yet been confirmed how the accident took place, but a negligence in the set up process is being assumed.
