New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath has received death threats over a message on Thursday night. According to the reports, the death threat was sent via a Whatsapp message on the state's local emergency number-112. The message stated CM Yogi as his/her enemy and threatened him to death.
The UP police immediately took cognizance of the situation and registered an FIR against the number last night. Police are still trying to track the identity of the person. The FIR has been registered at Lucknow's Gomti Nagar police station.

Uttar Pradesh has registered 360 new cases in the state which takes the total number of Covid-19 infected cases in the state to 5514. 138 people have lost their lives in the state due to the pandemic and 3,204 people have recovered. UP Government recently released the new guidelines for Lockdown 4.0 and announced relaxations in multiple sectors. The state government has allowed the local markets to open following all the social distancing norms and has even allowed local transport to function. The state government is also ensuring that the migrant labourers reach home safely.
