Hyderabad: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has announced a new date for pending exams. According to a report by IANS, the geography and modern language exams of the Intermediate Second Year (12th standard) will be conducted on June 3. These exams were supposed to be held on March 23 but could not be done due to the announcement of the lockdown.

The report says that the exam will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the same centres mentioned earlier and the students have been instructed to attend the exams in the centres with the same hall tickets.

Out of all the papers of Intermediate First Year, only the exam for Geography and modern language were not completed. The rest of the exam was held before March 22.

The report also said that the process of evaluation of answer sheets of the Intermediate examinations continues. According to the board, 9,202 examiners attended the spot valuation camps at 12 places in the state.

The board has also taken into consideration activities by some of the management of private/corporate junior colleges which are running online classes for Intermediate examinations and are pressurizing the students to pay the second-year fee.

The board said that due to the lockdown it is yet to notify the affiliation process and private junior colleges/private colleges have not yet been permitted or affiliated for the academic year 2020-21. It was also made clear that the management of private/corporate colleges is not permitted to run the classes/online classes and they were asked not to pressurize students for the payment of fee for the academic year 2020-21.  The board also informed that it is offering online lessons, content and tests free of cost for EAMCET, NEET, IIT-JEE and the same can be accessed on tsbie.cgg.gov.in.
