New Delhi: Automobile manufacturer Ford is set to be launched its iconic sports car Mustang in India tomorrow on July 12

With advanced new technology, an iconic design, and world-class power, Ford Mustang sets a new standard.

Mustang is equipped with climate-control seats, 2.3-litre, 4-cylinder EcoBoost, 5.0-litre fire breathing V8 engine. Mustang produces 401PSof power and 515Nm of torque

In addition; the new sports car features a range of smart technologies providing drivers with enhanced information, control, and connectivity. Well! Mustang would be priced at Rs. 50 to Rs. 70 lakh.

Ford has incorporated its award-winning 'Sync' connectivity system that allows drivers to use voice commands, while driving.

"The new Mustang is a modern interpretation of the American icon, and we are thrilled to be giving our customers in India the opportunity to experience this piece of automotive history for the first time," said Nigel Harris, president, Ford India.

The iconic sports car retains its 'clean-sheet' design - including the long sculpted hood and short rear deck - with contemporary execution.

The automobile boost of an aviation-inspired cockpit and a large, high-definition screen that displays vehicle information in a spacious cabin.

Besides, the vehicle comes with an increased width for improved shoulder and hip room for rear-seat passengers, and a more spacious trunk.

Further, the new Mustang is equipped with new front and rear suspension systems.

It comes with the latest edition of the 5-liter V8 engine, equipped with an upgraded valve-train and cylinder heads that yield more than 420 horsepower.

Since, its launch in 1964, Ford has sold more than nine million Mustangs.

The classic automobile has made various appearances in popular culture like films, television shows, music and video games.
