TDP Founder NT Rama Rao's Daughter Uma Maheshwari Found Dead In Hyderabad Home

TDP founder NT Rama Rao's daughter, Uma Maheshwari found hanging at her residence in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: TDP founder and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister NT Rama Rao's daughter Kanthamaneni Uma Maheswari allegedly died by suicide on Monday. The body of Uma Maheshwari was found hanging at her residence in Jubilee Hills Hyderabad. Maheswari was the youngest among 12 children of NT Rama Rao. 

Police have shifted the body to a local government hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered and further probe is on.  

TDP president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh and other relatives rushed to Maheswari's residence after hearing the news.

NTR, as NT Rama Rao was popularly known, was was the founder of TDP and is one of the tallest Telugu leaders. He had 12 children — eight sons and four daughters. 

Uma was the sister of TDP MLA and famous cine star Balakrishna. BJP general secretary and Former Union minister Daggubati Purandeswari and TDP president  N Chandrababu Naidu's wife Nara Bhuwaneswari are her other siblings. 

ABP Desam reports that Uma Maheswari had been suffering from health problems for some time now. Her younger daughter got married recently.
