New Delhi: As the videography survey and inspection of the Maa Shringar Gauri Sthal at Varanasi's Kashi Vishwanath-Gyanvapi complex begins on Friday, some people present on the spot started raising slogans. The survey was done by a team of lawyers appointed by a court. At the same time, the deployment of security personnel has also increased in the area. In a week, ‘namaaz’ is held only once on Friday afternoon so a large number of people gathered for offering prayers.
In the Shringar Gauri Mandir-Gyanvapi Masjid case, the mosque has to be surveyed by the advocate commissioner appointed by the court which will run till 6 pm on Friday.
As indicated by a report by The Times of India, the court had asked the advocate commissioner to visit the Shringar Gauri site in the presence of both the parties. The group has been asked to prepare a report of the status and submit it before the court on 10 May, the following date of the hearing.

The court has likewise requested that the advocate commissioner ensure videography of his review and look for help from the police force assuming the need emerges.
According to the reports, Hindu parties believe that earlier there used to be a temple on this site. It is being claimed that there is an idol of Bajrang Bali, as well as an idol of Ganesh ji inside. Apart from this, it is claimed that the real Shivling is hidden in the basement of the Gyanvapi Mosque.
