Salman Khan Firing Case Update: Mumbai Police has identified Lawrence Bishnoi, a notorious gangster currently incarcerated at Sabarmati central prison in Gujarat, along with his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi, as 'wanted accused' in the recent shooting incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence. Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, apprehended earlier this week in connection with the case, were allegedly acting under the instructions of the Bishnoi brothers, news agency PTI reported an official as informing on Saturday.
"While Lawrence Bishnoi is currently serving time in Sabarmati central prison, his brother Anmol is believed to be residing in either Canada or the United States," stated the official, adding that Mumbai Police is preparing to pursue legal action to secure Lawrence's custody, as quoted by PTI.

FIR In Salman Khan Firing Case
The investigation, led by the crime branch of the Mumbai Police, has incorporated additional sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) into the First Information Report (FIR), including 506 (2) for criminal intimidation and 201 for causing disappearance of evidence or giving false information to shield an offender.
The FIR was initially registered under IPC section 307 for attempted murder after two assailants on motorcycles fired shots outside Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, Salman Khan's residence, in the early hours of April 14th.
"On April 16th, Gupta and Pal were apprehended from Bhuj, Gujarat. Pal is suspected to have fired the shots while Gupta operated the motorbike," officials disclosed, as per PTI's report.
In a significant development, a Facebook post claiming responsibility for the attack, purportedly authored by Anmol Bishnoi, emerged shortly after the incident. "The IP address associated with the post was traced to Portugal, and notably, it was uploaded three hours before the shooting occurred," the official remarked. Additionally, the police revealed that the Facebook account under Anmol's name was registered using a foreign mobile number.
