Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday released Commemorative Postage Stamps on Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir and a book of stamps issued on Lord Ram around the world. 


According to ANI, the Components of the design include the Ram Mandir, Choupai 'Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari', Sun, Sarayu River and Sculptures in and around the Temple.


There are total six stamps which include, Ram Temple, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman, Jatayu, Kevatraj and Ma Shabri. 


 The five physical elements i.e. sky, air, fire, earth and water, known as 'Panchabhutas’ are reflected through various design elements of the stam. These showcase a perfect harmony of Panchamahabhutas essential for all manifestations.






 Speaking on the six commemorative stamps in a video message, PM Modi said, "Today, I got the opportunity to join another event organised by Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Abhiyan. Today, 6 Commemorative Postage Stamps on Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir and an album of stamps issued on Lord Ram around the world have been released. I want to congratulate the people of the country and all Ram Bhakts across the world.", the ANI reported.






Consecration rituals in the build-up to the inauguration of the Ram Temple started on January 16. On Wednesday, a 'Kalash Pujan' was held earlier on Wednesday, reported PTI. 


The rituals will continue till January 21 and minimum essential rituals needed for the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the idol of Ram Lalla will be conducted on January 22, as per the trust officials. 


On January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the main "yajman" at the consecration ceremony, the main priest for the ritual, Laxmikant Dixit said on Wednesday.
