Former Telangana CM Chandrasekhar Rao is currently undergoing physiotherapy to walk with ease after hip replacement surgery. The BRS chief underwent a total left hip replacement surgery after he fell in his farmhouse in Erravalli on December 7. 


According to ANI, Former Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao is undergoing physiotherapy following hip replacement surgery.














Rao is expected to make a full recovery and resume normal walking soon, according to a statement from his office, citing information from the attending doctors, on Wednesday.

Last month, a team of senior orthopedic surgeons and other medical professionals at Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad performed surgery on Rao. In a health bulletin, the hospital said that Rao had undergone the planned operation of left Total Hip Replacement. Rao tolerated the surgery well and remained stable hemodynamically throughout the procedure, it stated.


Earlier, PM Narendra Modi wished speedy recovery for the opposition Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) founder while state chief minister A Revanth Reddy urged to provide best medical care to his predecessor. Taking to X, PM Modi said that he was "distressed to know that former Telangana CM Shri KCR Garu has suffered an injury. I pray for his speedy recovery and good health."

During KCR's recovery, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, various ministers, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, representatives from various political parties, and several major film stars paid KCR visits to the hospital. AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy also visited KCR and presented a bouquet and shawl to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president.
