New Delhi: After almost six years Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the stage with Mohan Bhagwat - the chief of the BJP's ideological mentor Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), at the Ram Janmabhoomi pujan event this afternoon. Even though Modi is close to Bhagwat ever since he took the oath as the PM the two have maintained a distance and were never seen together at a public event. At the ceremony today, only a selected few were allowed to be seated on the stage.

Reports say RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is also likely to address the public later in the day.
