Mehbooba Mufti, Prashant Kishor Meet Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi In Delhi
There are speculations that Mehbooba Mufti and the Congress have once again started working together to prepare the electoral ground in the Kashmir Valley.
New Delhi: PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti and Political strategist Prashant Kishor on Monday created a stir in the political corridors by meeting Congress senior leader Sonia Gandhi.
There are speculations that Mehbooba Mufti and the Congress have once again started working together to prepare the electoral ground in the Kashmir Valley.
At the same time, political experts believe that in the last few days, meetings of leaders of all big political parties and leaders of different states are being held with them to surround the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). So that in the coming assembly and Lok Sabha elections, the entire opposition together can compete with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

"Prashant Kishor has given a detailed presentation for the 2024 election and Congress president has deputed a small group to look into it and report to her within a week and after that a final decision will be taken," General Secretary organisation K.C. Venugopal said.

According to the sources, the leaders discussed the future strategy for the upcoming assembly polls in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, & Chhattisgarh.
Sources referenced that Prashant Kishor said during the gathering the Congress party should focus up to 400 seats out of 543 for 2024 and work on partnerships any place the party was frail.
Sources likewise said that Kishor is probably going to join the Congress officially soon.
Prior the gathering, called by Sonia Gandhi to examine issues connected with 'Chintan Shivir' and upcoming polls, was attended by party's senior chiefs - - Ambika Soni, Digvijaya Singh, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Ajay Maken.
